Eric GordonWARDLEPassed away on 23rd February 2023 at the Spencer Grove Care Home, Belper (formerly of The Crest, Darley Abbey). The much loved husband of the late Peggy, dear dad to Helen & Hazel, father in law of Richard and Steve, dearly loved grandad of Nicola, Grace, Ann and Daniel and great grandad of Olivia Grace. The funeral service will take place at St John the Baptist Church, Smalley on 21st March 2023 at 12:00 noon followed by committal at Markeaton Crematorium. The family would like to pay tribute to the wonderful love and care shown to Dad in the last few months of his life by the staff of Spencer Grove Care Home. Family flowers only please; donations in lieu of flowers will be divided equally between the Stroke Association and the Donkey Sanctuary can be sent to Joseph Allen & Sons 17 Field Lane, Belper.
